More an more moms are seeking out ways to reduce toxic overload in their every day lives. After all, aren’t we bombarded enough with toxins in our food, environment, and air, do we have to worry about the very tools we use to keep ourselves and our families safe from illness!? It’s time for some non-toxic spring cleaning!

Most of the cleaners available today kill germs. They kill bacteria. They can also kill Y.O.U. Yep. Unfortunately, the warning labels were focused on direct consumption but there’s more to this story! Maybe you already knew it, but just haven’t made the changes yet. Maybe you are afraid of the time it will take, or the cost it will incur to change to homemade cleaners. Well, it doesn’t have to be costly, nor time-consuming. In fact, with a few drops of essential oils and less than five minutes, you can make a difference in your home!
Want to eliminate TOXIC house cleaners?
For a clean uplifting blend, diffuse 8 drops of Now Foods Essential Oils Lemon, 1 fl oz 30 ml, Protector Blend, Orange Essential Oil, Balsam Fir Essential Oil, Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil, or NOW Pine Oil, 1-Ounce.
Add 5 drops Thieves Household Cleaner 14.4 fl.oz. by Young Living Essential Oils to a damp cloth and use in high traffic areas. Door knobs, handles, counter tops, table tops, bathrooms, …
3/4 cup baking soda • 2 tbsp baby powder • 10 drops Protector (goDesana Brand essential oils, you can substitute with your favorite antibacterial, antiviral blend)
Combine, sprinkle on carpets as desired. Vacuum. Store in airtight container.
Dust & Shine Spray
3 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil • 3 drops Lemon Essential Oil • 8 oz distilled water
Combine in spray bottle. Use with soft cloth.
