Being Boss Book Review

Being an entrepreneur and “Boss” of your own biz is tricky when you juggle it with all that’s happening for busy moms today, yet, we moms are being pulled to find a way to success working and building our own empires.

Boss-Mom has become a catch phrase for women who, like me, are inspired to make a difference in the world while helping with the household overhead and still being an excellent mom.

Being Boss, by Kathleen Shannon and Emily Thompson, caught my attention on an early morning podcast I was streaming while I was getting ready to get on my international coaching calls. (a really cool part of my job is that I get to support awesome and inspiring women from all over the planet from Russia to China to Australia and back home to the good ol’ USA, but in order to do this, I have some pretty early mornings!) I was immediately curious, I’d never heard of the authors and was looking for something new and good to read.

Within a few pages, I was immersed in a-ha’s, totally relating to what the authors Shannon and Thompson refer to. Included in the value of this www.ncmh.info/valium-diazepam/ book are stories, ideas, concepts, and written exercises all helping you to get clear and take action to organize your business and to strategize building it to the next level.

This book is also very pleasing to look at as it’s filled with catchy phrases and lovely colors, and the visual layout and flow of the text is well planned and executed.

Despite the beauty of looking at this book, I’ve highlighted it, underlined in it, and written my thoughts in the spaces allowed. I’ve filled in the carefully planned worksheets, and I do believe it’s helped me to unfold a little more!

This book does not cover the launch of a brand new business, rather it supports the woman who is already launched and taking action often. This is for the business owner who is finding themselves feeling stuck, overwhelmed, unclear, or ready for that next step to maximize profit and minimize energy to make it happen.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read something that propels me into thought, inspires me into action, and keeps me coming back for more.

I do highly recommend reading this book if you are wondering what’s next for you!
