Guest Blogger: Danny Cohen, All The Little Voices

” I can’t stand my life right now!” “I hate my body!” “Will I ever amount to anything?” The list

goes on and on, and varies from person to person at some stage in their life, but it doesn’t have

to be that way. Or does it? only if you choose it to be. We all have a voice inside our heads, it

tells us how we will look, how we feel, how our day will go, and most of all how our life will go.

Our subconscious which plays a major role in which direction this inner voice will take us is most

often always looking for a way to make us feel less than worth it. It finds, holds onto, and keeps

(for future reference) all of our negative flaws and imperfections, and turns them into so much

worse, all of our negative past experiences and brings them up unannounced, and makes us feel

ugly when we want to feel most beautiful. I was my worst critic. I would plant seeds of hate,

disgust, and despair into my subconscious. I let it rule my life, and completely take away my

happiness. When I began to introduce affirmations into my daily life, my world completely

changed. Not just because I was saying words, but because I was BELIEVING the words that

were being introduced into my subconscious. I began to think positive and move forward freely

every day. The key to developing a positive inner voice is to first to do just that, THINK POSITIVE.

When you choose to think positive, it will slowly start to quiet our negative inner voice. To do

this, incorporate Positive affirmations into your daily life. Affirmations help breathe life back

into any situation that you may be going through. You are AFFIRMING to get yourself well. You

are AFFIRMING to reach your goals, you are AFFIRMING to pursue a dream. Every morning when

you make the commitment to AFFIRM how your day will go, you are taking one more step

towards being the director of your own reality and living the life you have always wanted.

Affirmations are best when they are said aloud when in front of a mirror, but you can post your

positive affirmations where you will most likely see them every day. On your bathroom mirror,

on your vanity in your bedroom, on your refrigerator door. Once you post them, recite them

everyday aloud, but most of all BELIEVE them. When you believe what you are saying to yourself

changes will slowly start to take place, and the positive inner voice with start taking shape

silencing all of the negative, judgmental, and hateful voices that once sounded so clear to you.

Here are a few affirmations to get you started.

• I AM AMAZING I AM ACCEPTING OF MY LIFE I AM ACCEPTING OF MY LIFE

• I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THAT I HAVE

• I CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY

• I CHOOSE TO LIVE WITHOUT FEAR

• I AM BEAUTIFUL

• I AM ACCEPTING OF MY LIFE

• I AM ACCEPTING OF MY LIFE
